The Buckhorn Inn in Gatlinburg is celebrating 75 years in operation, according to a recent article in The Chattanoogan. The celebration will include a year of events, including gala dinners, a publication of a collection of “Buckhorn Memories” compiled from guest recollections, bridge tournaments, a month-long celebration of mountain music, and more.
According to The Chattanoogan:
Established in 1938, the Buckhorn Inn offers relaxation with spacious rooms and lovely views. Located near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it is the third oldest establishment in Gatlinburg and the oldest accommodation establishment still operating in Sevier County.
