According to WBIR.com, a repaving project is underway in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The work will include a 6.1-mile section of U.S. 441, also called Newfound Gap Road. The section extends from the picnic area at the Chimneys to the Alum Cave Bluffs parking area.
Park officials said drivers should expect delays until June 15, when the work will be only at night.
