The city of Pigeon Forge is dedicating a new park — The Wear Family City Park — according to The Knoxville News.
The new park will open with a dedication on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The park is located about a half-mile off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.
There will be several phases to the park. The first one includes five lighted baseball and softball fields, a lighted football field, a playground, two shelters, a basketball court, concession stands, restrooms, and walking trails.
